Shopping Cart The VDG Shopping System uses a common online store interface for familiarity and ease of use. The simple "add to cart" and "checkout" functionality make it easy for customers to select their products and purchase online. We do not believe you should require a customer to create an account in order to purchase -- we make sure you get a sale first. If a customer wishes to create an account, their username and password gives them access to their past orders and order status.	AuthorizeNet Payment Gateway We use and recommend Authorize.Net for all our credit card processing online. Features such as Address Verification, Card Security Code, and other fraud protection services are available. Customers are notified immediately if there is a problem with their card -- and you know that all your orders are valid. We will guide you through the setup process and connect your store to your bank.
Transaction Emails Customer is immediately Emailed a receipt. A printable receipt page is also provided via their web browser. Customer is automatically Emailed when order is Fulfilled or Voided.	SSL Encryption All personal data and transactions are encrypted for transport to and from the server. We will setup your domain with your own SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Certificate.
Tax Calculations Separate Tax Rates for each U.S. State (Or by zip code for city or county taxes). Assign States that certain product is taxable in. Allow Taxing of Shipping & Handling for different states.	Shipping Integration Realtime UPS & FedEx shipping costs. Add in your Base Shipping cost to account for special packaging or handling. Allow customer to "Pick Up at Local store" too.
Custom Payment Options If you need more than Credit Card processing, our system is able to accept custom payment options such as e-checks, account numbers, COD, Bill Me, or any other special arrangement your business can use.	Product Search Advanced Boolean search capability that runs on any combination of price, category and/or keywords.
PayPal Integration Integration with PayPal is also available.

Cross Promotions The shopping system can recommend Related Items to customers as they "Add to Cart". The recommedation can be based on the item just placed in the cart or on all the items currently in the cart.	Email a Friend If a customer wants to share your product info with someone else, they can send the product's detail page to their friend using the "Email a Friend" feature.
Notify me when Back in Stock If an item is out of stock, customers can signup to be emailed when the item becomes available again.	Optional Gift Message Upon checking out, customers can enter a special gift message for the recipient. Other optional checkout options are available too.
Constant Contact Integration Each order adds the customer's email address to the database for email marketing. This database is easily integrated with Constant Contact -- our recommended email marketing system. We will setup an account at Constant Contact for you!	Coupons and Gift Codes Run Specials for specified time period -- Timed Specials appear on home page and throughout site. Gift Certificates and Gift Codes can be used to purchase items, or, Gift Certificates can be purchased and "Sent to a Friend". Coupons can be assigned to individual users, or general users for a specified time period. Promotions for dollars off or percent off when reaching different order values. Quantity breaks are also available per product or per category. Customer Groups (logged-in users) may receive special discounts for their group. Offer free products when reaching different order values.
Unlimited Product Views Additional (unlimited) Images or PDFs may be included for each product. Images and Thumbnails are automatically sized to fit your Design. Roll-over effect zooms in on details of your product.
